Vacancy permit
An endorsement some insurers offer that maintains specified coverage on a property during a period of vacancy, usually with conditions attached and an additional premium.

Availability, terms and cost vary considerably. Where offered, conditions commonly include maintained heat, water shut off and drained, or a required check interval.
