Property management
In Alberta, a regulated activity under the Real Estate Act covering leasing, tenant selection, rent collection, deposit handling and related services on behalf of a property owner.
Requires licensing. Physical property care during a vacancy — monitoring, cleaning, maintenance coordination, documentation — is not property management and does not require a property management licence.
VacantHomes.ca does not perform property management and does not hold a property management licence.
