Home watch

Scheduled visual inspection of an unoccupied property by a service engaged for that purpose, producing a record of each visit.

Distinct from house sitting, which involves someone staying at the property, and from property management, which involves managing a tenancy.

Home watch is observational. It is not a home inspection, a security service or an emergency response service.
