Short-term rental properties experience a pattern of vacancy that is easy to miss: intense occupancy, then nothing for weeks. Calgary's shoulder seasons, a paused listing, a renovation, or a licensing change can all leave a property empty for a stretch that nobody planned for and no cleaner is scheduled into.
During those gaps the property has the same risks as any vacancy, with a few of its own. Traps dry out in a unit with several bathrooms that are suddenly unused. Systems sized for high occupancy sit idle. Supplies and linens sit in an unmonitored space. And the property has recently had a lot of different people in it, which is a reason to look rather than to worry.

This is deliberately not short-term rental management. No guest communication, no bookings, no pricing, no key exchange with guests, no cleaning management, and no involvement in licensing or compliance. Calgary requires a business licence for short-term rentals and the rules change; that is the owner's responsibility and their operator's, not this service's.

A walk of accessible interior areas recording temperature, water evidence, heating operation, odours and general condition.
Weather Event Check
An additional visit booked after hail, wind, heavy snow or extreme cold, documenting any impact on the property.
Cleaning Coordination
Cleaning scheduled with a local provider, attended for access, and verified with photographs afterwards.
Small Home Tasks
Non-trade household tasks — filters, bulbs, batteries, hardware, furniture moves — completed during a visit and photographed.
