Return Preparation
Arriving at midnight in February to a 10 °C house with the water off and the driveway unploughed.
Coming home should not be a second job. Return preparation is a visit shortly before your arrival that reverses the departure setup and leaves the property ready to walk into.
Temperature brought up to a comfortable level in advance. Water service restored, with fixtures run and checked for leaks — which is the important part, because a system that has sat unused for months sometimes reveals its problems the moment it is repressurised, and it is much better for that to happen while a representative is standing there than after you have gone to bed.
Then the ordinary things: driveway and walks cleared, cleaning arranged if you want it, mail sorted and stacked where you asked, parcels brought in and placed, a final walkthrough with photographs, and a short report confirming the state of the property before you land.
You arrive to a house that is warm, has running water, a clear driveway and no surprises. That is the entire objective.
